Blog Images

Finding images safe for blogging can sometimes be a challenge.  Good Free, Creative Commons, etc. sometimes can be hard to find.  What I’ve decided to do is use GraphicStock.com.  It’s only $99 per year (on sale) and I get access to a large library of images for use in my artwork, book covers, kindle cover, marketing and blog posts.  The real requirement is that the images must be manipulated in some way, meaning, I can’t download the image and re-post it as is.  The image above is an example of taking a good image, cropping it and running it through some cool sharpening filters.  Here is a link to the original image for comparison… ok, here is the real link. {snicker}
